No magic potion exists to make weight loss happen. Weight loss is a slow process. You don’t have to join a gym, sports team or run a marathon. You don’t need a personal chef or trainer to accomplish weight loss. By changing your eating habits and committing to an active lifestyle, you can lose weight.
Remember when you were young and you didn’t have to think about ways to keep moving. You would ride your bike, run, and hit a ball with a bat or racket. Well maybe it’s time to find your inner child and start playing again. Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of the fun things you did as a child. A key to weight loss is staying active. Walking, swimming, hiking and yoga are all good low impact ways to keep moving.
Fill It Up
You wouldn’t put substandard gasoline in your car and expect it to run smoothly, so why would you fill up your body with junk food. When you eat fresh fruits and vegetables you’re giving your body the nutrients it needs to stay healthy. Fruits and vegetables, cereal, and oatmeal also contain fiber. Fiber gives you a full feeling, cleans you out, and gets your metabolism revving.
Cheers to Water
Your body needs hydration to function properly, but pass on the sugary sodas and juices that are loaded with calories. Instead drink water. Water flushes toxins from your system and skin, and reduces your appetite. Add a lemon slice and ice cubes for a refreshing, favorable drink.
Reduce to Lose
The more calories you ingest that your body doesn’t need is stored as fat. This stored fat causes you to gain weight. By consuming the same amount of calories each day, you are giving your body what it needs to maintain a steady weight. When you cut your calorie intake, your body converts the stored fat into energy that you can burn off resulting in weight loss.
